you know the professor i like. i actually had the chance the walk with him out of the building and a little outside before we split. my classmate borrowed my book to ask him a question in the hallway and then i went with her in the opposite direction afterwards. i had to pay for a cookie i bought the day before, so i had to go in the same direction as my prof. i should have gone with him even if that's not my direction like even if i didn't have anything to pay. how dumb am i? it also seems like he goes to that restaurant, which is beside his building. he MIGHT come more often there because he has seen me going in there and also i would have had the chance to walk with him. at that time, there was some issue that we could have talked about, too. i don't know what i was thinking. i guess my brain thought it's time for the separation of prof and students.

i walked with my classmate and i think that might have been the only time i could have walked with him because this person borrowed my book and i had to wait or maybe i could have walked with him anyways even if she had her own book.

I never graduated school because I can't focus at all...
I always refused meds for this.
Learning how to focus is pointless: you start to focus on wether you're focussing or not, and not the course...

do your work on the bus or a train.

I manage to do that pretty good and it help a lot-and it forces you to do work and/or it motivates you/makes you more comfortable depending (unless you're sleepy or something). It depends on the length of the ride though. Or do it in a bookstore.

EDIT: but I use the bus daily as well. Maybe others could or the same or take a cheap bus route across town while doing work then going back. CTA allows you to ride forever if you pay the $2.00 and don't get off, switching at junctions and staying in stations, etc. so it can be cheap depending on your location.

lmao. this is exactly me. I stuck through 2.5 mediocre years worth of college before taking a sabbatical for a while and realizing I was just wasting money. I also focused on focusing, and ended up not focusing at all. I noticed that Im always conjuring up music or thoughts in my head during class, so when it came to studying, I found it helped me to actually HAVE distractions in the background, since my mind was actually going more nuts without distractions, because it was making its own. I find silence to be way more disruptive than background noise.
