I just started watching Kyle XY this season and I have noticed he displays alot of the signs of someone with Aspergers. I have Aspergers and I can really relate with Kyle XY (except in the having super powers)

This is kind of a save Kyle XY thread but also a place to talk about the show I will include two links to petitions to save the show

The addresses are at SaveTheTub.com under "Network Contact Information". Write letters to ABC and NOT ABC Family. So write letters here:
Anne Sweeney, President
ABC Entertainment
500 S. Buena Vista St
Burbank, CA 91521-4551

Also write letters to Sci-Fi and CW convincing them to pick up the show for themselves:
Sci-Fi Channel
8800 W. Sunset Blvd., 4th Floor
West Hollywood, CA 90069
(310) 360-2300

CW Network
Dawn Ostroff,
Entertainment President
CW Television Network
4000 Warner Boulevard
Bldg 168
Burbank, CA 91522

Petitions are:
http://tvseriesfinale.com/articles/kyle ... the-canc... (tvseriesfinale dot com, search for "Kyle XY cancelled". It is the biggest petition with over 22,800 signatures.)
http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/savekylexy (petitionspot dot com, search for "save Kyle XY" and has over 13,000 signatures.)

Please help save the show.

I've thought about it too, but the reason he lacks social skills is because he's essentially a newborn.

I think the girl seems more AS than he does, although they both do seem to be.

I love that show.I do want to write to someone and tell them to take the mouth guards out of Kyle's former girl friend and the mom. At first I thought that the GF got invisible braces and then with the last episode, I noticed that the pseudo mom was talking like she had one as well. NOw I can't pay attention to anything she says because of whatever she did to her teeth (it's a new thing for her so it's driving me crazy). The GF also use to talk different than she does now. I am use to her now.

Are they thinking about removing Kyle XY??

They did remove it. They had a last episode and did not answer any questions.

Wait...no.
I just watched an episode last week. That couldn't have been the last one.

I just signed something. That is just so stupid. If it is competing against 24 and Heroes, then why not have it on at a different time. Besides, most people DVR or TIVO it like we do because we are also 24 junkies.

I know right? Its soooo dumb to end it like that. I do not want to spoil anything. I kept checking my DVR it was almost over and they were no wear near an closing point then to watch it end like that was just disrespectful to the fans

Fortunately, all the eps are available on Hulu now. I found Kyle in the first season very relatable. I wouldn't say his case compares so much to that of a newborn. From the start he already had a grasp on math and sciences. He just didn't have any exposure to spoken language or the world around him. The coolest part imo is that so much of the Kyle lines early on are in voiceover because he doesn't know how to express his thoughts in spoken word.

Extactaly. He's too intrested in other people to have AS.
