If He was so powerful He could, of course, eliminate Satan and Hell with a dismissive wave of His hand and not bother with all the nonsense of sins.

Hell and satan are creations of your own mind. Belief in God is the adult version of believing in Santa and the Tooth Fairy. As for Jesus Christ, he is just a legend in an old book called the bible which is nothing more than a mixture of history, legends and myths.
