Which fictional alien specie do you think is most awesome?

My vote go for Goa'uld (Stargate, Stargate SG1)

The Borg may be awesome, but that's in part because they're kind of a rip-off of the Cybermen. :mrgreen:

Coolest, or most badass? Important distinction. And are we keeping this to TV/movies, or overall?

I'd say the coolest are probably the Asgard from SG-1.

The most badass species is the Yuuzhan Vong from the Star Wars New Jedi Order books, but those are books, not TV. As far as TV, I'm torn between the Sebacean from Farscape and the Narn from Babylon 5. The Borg got nerfed in First Contact, so they lost the edge.

My favirout is the Yautja which are the aliens from the Predator films, I am quite interested in them.
