Do people call you an as*hole, either to your face or behind your back?

There are times when I know I'm an a**h***. It's usually when I'm having an AS moment. I answer questions as "yes/no" or not at all. And will do anything to get away, or get people away. Thats the point at which people usually hate me.

If people in general liked our AS characteristics, it would be much less of an issue, and NT people would strive to be like us.

I thought my dad was an a**h*** often, and he was on the spectrum.

I'm not sure what people call me behind my back, but judging by what I get to my face, "weird" and "odd" would be nearer the mark.

Mostly, where there's conflict it's because I'm being too logical for people, occasionally too cold and calculating. It's not quite a***h*** territory.

I used to get called an as*hole a lot, but once I realized I actually was one, the name-calling stopped almost immediately.

I get called weird more, though, which is just as offensive, if not more.

Yes, and these people should try and look at a mirror sometime.

Now, who's the as*hole?

If they call me that behind my back, I'm not aware of it. The last time anyone dared to call me anything to my face, it was "weird." I've been told that I'm intimidating, and I'm not sure if it's a euphemism for something else.

Yeah, same here. I've been called all kinds of not-so-positive things, but since I'm too gosh-darn nice for my own good, it is not common for me to be called an A-hole, a d**k, or anything else along those lines.
