This is fun. The St. Andrews University Face Transformer - A Java app that will let you upload your face, then morph your physiology. Shifting age, gender and ethnicity.

I was most amused by the age and gender morph. The old me and the male me.

I played with this in February. The old version of me looks like a thinner version of my mother, and I decided that I would need to smile gaily every day for the rest of my life to stop my mouth from going as droopy and mean-looking as the picture indicated!

The remarkable one was the "male" version of me. When I showed it to my future sister-in-law she thought it was a picture of my brother.

Very amusing. But tell me this:

Is this supposed to be the female version of me? Maybe I look too damn effeminate already...

How can I change a picture of me to a jpeg?

Oh, I figured it out! Hey, I wouldn't mind one of these for my regular jpeg. The baby is quite cute, but somewhat scarey in an "evil Stewy" kind of way. The "male" me looks almost exactly like my normal self, which I find somewhat insulting to be frank... but some of the arty ones are very good.

The old me looks very much like one of my great aunts.

I've played with that before. It works a lot better with different images. The image I used today was face-on and I had no facial expression and that worked quite well.

Me as I age:

Me if I were a different race:

Did anyone try uploading an image created by the program? This is what happens if I upload the image of me as a black person, and ask it to make me white:

Looks sorta like Pete Burns!

You don't look at all like Pete Burns, in any likeness! What a horrible thing to say about your good self. 8O

I remember this! I'll have to do it now. :) Never mind then, I'm getting an error when I try to do it. :( The box just says "error click for details" I'll try later.

Edit: It just turns out my image was waaaaay too big. :P

I got it to work. Doesn't work to well for guys with facial hair though - at least not for the baby, child, or female transformation. Even when I got a pic where I had none, I become an extremely ugly woman!

Oh, flippin eck... I sent the link to my brother, and he emailed me back a picture of me, with straight hair... and informed me that it was him as a female.

So I tried again, with me sans spectacles... and what did I get? My brother on a bad hair day.

I'm seriously freaked out! I don't want to look like a father of two! I would like to at least pretend that I'm feminine...

Don't know how to post the picture, but seriously... I'm spooked!

Oh, by the way... for the world's saddest trek fans... do a google search for "trek yourself." Again, I don't know how to save it... but I make a pretty cool vulcan!

I know how you feel. When I use the "older adult" feature, I look like my mother if she was 70.
